At around 13:20 on 31 December 2016 members of the community informed us of a tree that has fallen down during the night and is blocking both lanes in Craven Street, The Reeds.

CPF members mobilized to assist in removing the tree and prevent a possible motor vehicle accident, especially with New Years celebrations that is taking place in the evening.

The CPF members made quick work with the situation with the help of a Ford Ranger bakkie and chain saw as tools.  Once again, even with braais and celebrations going on all around in the holiday season, CPF members is not taking a break and helping and assisting where necessary with what ever we can.

We wish all a great New Years eve.  Be safe, and be responsible.

Regards,
