We, the Wierdabrug Sector 2 "Rooihuiskraal & The Reeds" Community Police Forum thank all those members of the community including our armed response and emergency services, SAPS Wierdabrug, Local Councillors, Schools, Churches and Businesses that are always willing and prepared to give of their time, finances, general support and services.
It is a legal entity created by the provincial and station commissioners under Act 68 of 1995 in the SAPS Act. The purpose of these forums is to establish and maintain a partnership between the community and SAPS promoting cooperation, communication, improvement of transparency, joint problem identification and improvement in rendering of the services by the SAPS.

What is the CPF
In short, the purpose of the Community Policing Forums is to assist in increasing the effectiveness initiatives to combat crime by being the link between the SAPS and the Community, and by being the eyes and ears of the SAPS.
